The document, which illustrates the different concepts on two fronts - does not contain policy conclusions, although Finance Minister Hans-Rudolf Merz during a press conference in Bern today reiterated: "dialogue, not negotiations."
The Federal Council has also highlighted the objectives of Switzerland in the framework of "dialogue" with the 27: to safeguard the competitiveness of Switzerland and bilaterally without compromising an independent fiscal policy and the reform of corporate taxation.
