FRIDAY' JOHN - Procession of the Mysteries
The Mystery of Good Friday procession that takes place in Terlizzi, has some peculiar characteristics many other neighboring countries. First
takes place entirely on the evening of Friday, at the end of the procession, and then Bishop Bishop intervenes it is not organized by a 'single brotherhood. In fact, the eleven mysteries, which make up the Via Crucis Terlizzi, eleven belong to different churches or chapels; each Sodality or lay group is responsible for its own mystery, as is the case in Bisceglie. As there is no single "container" for the holy images, leaving each of the mysteries of their church affiliation, to converge at about 20.00, in front of the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel, from where, to the 20.30, before the procession.

These last two mysteries are often extolled for the duration of the Via Crucis.
A long-standing tradition is to pay tribute to 'Our Lady of Sorrows with the moving song "A Maria sorry," sung by a choir of girls accompanied by the town band, when the statue is near the Church of Sant' Ignazio.
Routes Piazza Cavour, Via Mazzini, a steady pace along the Via Crucis' s Estramurale Gioia, Via Tripoli, Via XX Settembre, can be reached near the Calvary and then continues throughout the Viale Roma and Corso Vittorio Emanuele II to return Piazza Cavour.
In this square, at the foot of the tower of the ancient Norman castle, since Good Friday morning, you mount a large wooden cross, and just below this cross, the bishop who took the floor, after a prayer and some words to the present, he blesses the faithful.
It is now midnight, when the Via Crucis procession comes to an end and is divided into eleven different processions to bring the many mysteries in the churches they belong to.
The city band, according to tradition, accompanied by playing the last funeral marches, the barren lifeless Dead Christ to the Church of Our Lady of Constantinople.
