And here I am!
After the summer holidays I went back to write on the blog (in the hope that there is still someone who follows it!).
Today I will continue to talk of hands by focusing on something that may seem trivial in itself but hides many pitfalls: the handshake.
now, especially in the western world, this has become a common gesture, and is the main form of greeting, especially in the workplace. At first glance it might seem a gesture perfectly neutral, but obviously it is not so early as the handshake can you tell if a person is "dominant" or not.
If our subject has a strong character, and aim to take control of situations tend to shake hands with someone holding the palm facing the floor. This gesture is perceived as dominant as the other person is forced to keep the palm facing upward, which is perceived as a sign of submission.
However, if a person has a weak character and tends to be subject to others is likely to use a handshake exactly contrary to the previous one, in fact, hand you a hand with the palm facing upward.
But there is a handshake in which two people are in a state of equality?
Of course. When the palms of both people are perpendicular to the ground is established equality between the two.
And with that I greet you anticipated that the next will be the last trip to the alleged hands (and was even now!).
you soon!
